Our Journey
In the year 2000 Grampian Opportunities began its journey, working to develop opportunities for people with disabilities, mental health problems, sensory impairment, autism or long-term conditions. Supporting the development of relationships and encouraging people to be actively involved in their communities.
Twenty-Four years later, Grampian Opportunities now a registered Charity, with a new home in, 54 West High Street Inverurie.
The fundamental essence of the Charity has never changed with the focus continuing to be on individuals with disabilities, mental health problems, sensory impairment, autism or long-term conditions. The services have evolved over the years, incorporating changing needs within communities and with expert guidance from the individuals we support. We measure our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and impact and outcomes of the services and activities we offer.
Our Vision and Mission is ambitious, because the individuals working in partnership and accessing our services and activities both demand and are entitled to nothing less.
